Job Overview

1. Ensure accurate, effective and safe stock management processes and maintain standard policies
2. Manage the entire distribution process of goods by playing a pivotal role to bring about improvements in warehousing and logistics operation
3. Being responsible for the entire inventory in the warehouse and ensure the accuracy of all documentation, compliance in all inbound & outbound goods/material transactions
4. Liaise with finance on periodical physical stock verifications
5. Maintain operational costs effectively and efficiently by identifying and initiating process re-engineering activities with internal / external control systems
6. Assume responsibility for overall administration of Stores Staff and ensure the safety and housekeeping of stores

Skills & Experience

1. A Degree in Supply Chain Management or relevant professional qualifications
2. Minimum 5 years’ experience preferably in the manufacturing industry
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Sinhala and English
4. Ability to converse and work in Tamil language would be an advantage
5. Strong inter-personal skills and ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision
6. High computer literacy - ERP System, Emails, Microsoft Office applications. Previous working experience in an SAP environment would be an advantage
7. Should be able to manage a multi-functional team
